The normal path to ITIL V3 Expert requires many courses to be completed in 20 or 25 days. Impetus Consulting has introduced the ITIL V3 Expert Program (Boot Camp). This fast-track expert program is a definite path that leads you to the ITIL Expert Certificate after completing 8 (Lifecycle) or 10 (Capability) days classroom program and 40 hours of self paced e-learning (reduction of > 50% classroom time). Reduced travel, lodging and classroom days as well as less number of days away from work make this option very attractive without scarifying the learning effect of a classroom environment with a select group of peers, which results in a vast knowledge and experience sharing, and forming the basis for long lasting relationships.
One advantage of the Bootcamp method we are offerring is the modular nature of the program which allows booking any number of intermediate modules for those who are interested in a specific area of ITIL or for those who already did some intermediate courses previously and want to use this opportunity to finish the rest of the ITIL Expert Program. After the continuing success of our PRINCE2 trainings as part of our Project Management Program we are now introducing new Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) course with certification exam by APMG.
MSP is an internationally recognized best practice Programme Management method that can be tailored to suit any type of working culture and any size or type of programme. Launched in 1999 and currently on its 3rd refresh, MSP is a mature method and has been used successfully around the world. MSP (Managing Successful Programmes) is a structured framework for defining and managing complex change. MSP provides an approach to managing the needs and expectations of diverse stakeholder groups, by focusing on benefits. A profile of interlinked projects can then be run to deliver tactical and operational changes.
PRINCE2 is a structured Project Management method. It has a series of Processes which cover all the activities required on a project from the beginning to the end and it provides clear, step by step, direction. PRINCE2 has already started spreading fast after its incredible success in UK and continental Europe. Our PRINCE2 training offer which combines a Foundation & Practitioners course over 5 days leading to both of the certificates were a great success in the second half of 2009. We have achieved a pass rate of %100 for Foundation and over %80 for Practitioner. Implementing IT Governance with COBIT & Val IT
Our new training offering is the official COBIT implementation course which is provided and accredited by ISACA. This 2-day classroom implementation workshop is very practice oriented and it is designed for individuals who have a fundamental working knowledge of COBIT but lack implementation experience. The first classes in 2009 were very successful and we have scheduled many more batches in 2010.
